SODIUM NITRATE
Our industrial-use sodium nitrate is sold in different purities, adapted to customer requirements. The most common purities are 98% to above 99%. It is used mainly in the chemicals, ceramics, glass and explosives industries and in solar power plants that store heat using molten nitrate salts.
Products come in the form of crystals and prills.
The NOx component in the prills produced by ACF Baquedano decomposes slowly, which makes the handling of chemicals safer and the chemicals themselves more stable.

As with Sodium Nitrate, industrial-use Potassium Nitrate can be supplied with varying degrees of purity, as required by customers. The main uses are in the chemicals industry, the pyrotechnics industry and in solar plants that store heat through molten nitrate.
